The aim of the Cloud HUB project is to introduce the portal as the only point of access to the common federal computing infrastructure of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine to increase the efficiency of existing resources of the NAS of Ukraine through their integration and use of new information technologies.
The federal cloud computing infrastructure of scientific institutions of the NAS of Ukraine is formed on a voluntary basis from the resources of the Resource Centers registered in the Cloud HUB infrastructure and is provided for use depending on needs on the principles of federalization under the direction of the community collegial body.
Cloud resources available for use through the CloudHUB portal are designed to support scientific computing at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Any employee of the Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, if he is the head of a research project or performs scientific work within the subject of the institute, may submit a request for the allocation of cloud resources for scientific calculations.

To participate in the Cloud HUB project, the Resource Center must complete the form "Resource Center Registration" and determine the amount and characteristics of cloud resources that are shared by Cloud HUB project participants. Resource Center from the institution of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and is approved by the Supervisory Board.After approval, the Resource Center connects to the shared cloud resources Cloud HUB.

To gain access to cloud resources to ensure the implementation of scientific projects, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine fills in the form under the link "Project Registration" and determines the scope and characteristics of cloud resources and project implementation. project approval provides access to Cloud HUB cloud resources.
